The Prix People Counter System is meant to verify and analyze the number of people entering and exiting from premises like shops, libraries, museums, etc.

Knowing the customers’ flow is essential to analyze the performance of a business and to guarantee a good service to customers. It enables you to identify the results of a particular promotion, to evaluate the number of staff required and to check, at any time, the entries and exits.

The system works through the emission of a laser shaft that, whenever discontinued, produces a signal, which is recorded by an internal digital power board. This data system is bi-directional and can be positioned at any entrance up to 4 metres large.

The people counter system can also report, through a sound signal, the presence of a person or an object in front of the sensors, obstructing the survey.
All data inside the counting system are downloaded via radio connecting a small device to a PC. The transmission can work at a distance of 200 metres also in the presence of obstacles. This kind of technology completely eliminates the use of cables, avoiding extra work and extra costs.
To install the system you simply need a power supply near the entrance and a PC. To one unique power board, linked to a PC, you can have more than one people counting system, each one of them having a different identification.

Prix Italia has developed a particular software which can automatically send the various branches’ data to one unique central board which imports all data to produce its own statistics and charts with the following options:
